Does Your Logo Have a Story You Can Tell 10 Years from Now?

Giving Shape to Your "Emotion" That AI Cannot Draw

When you decide to “refresh your logo”, the options available today are endless. Low-cost production sites, AI-generated designs, and countless design agencies.

However, even after you finally select a company, there is often a “certain pitfall” waiting for you. That reality is: the design is completed without you ever speaking directly to the designer who actually does the work.

In this article, we will share why TMCreation continues to insist on “direct dialogue with the designer”, and how to create a “logo that will be loved for a long time” – a value that increases precisely because we live in the AI era.

Why Many Logo Projects End Up as a “Game of Telephone”

At a typical design agency, your point of contact is a sales representative. The designers work behind the scenes, often handling multiple projects simultaneously, tucked away in the office.

In this system, your passionate ideas pass through the “filter” of the sales representative and reach the designer colored by someone else’s interpretation. This is exactly like a game of telephone.

By the time the information reaches the designer, your original intent has morphed into something that leaves no trace of your true thoughts. In such a situation, can a design that genuinely reflects your philosophy really be born?

The Interpretation of “Cool” Varies from Person to Person

“I want a cool logo”. “I prefer something simple”.

These are words often used, but they are actually very ambiguous. What one feels is “cool” differs for everyone depending on their upbringing, experiences, and cherished philosophies.

At TMCreation, the designer listens directly to your voice. We value both what can be put into words and what cannot, and through two-way discussion, we uncover “the correct answer for you”.

Why Human “Honest Dialogue” Has Value in the AI Era

Recently, we often hear people say that “AI can easily create logos”.

To be honest, as a designer, I sometimes think, “How easy would it be if AI could really create logos?” lol

However, my conclusion at this stage is that in the professional field of logo design, what AI is capable of producing is not even comparable to a designer’s creative power.

AI excels at creating “atmospheric images”. On the other hand, logo design demands human imagination, and the technical skill to meticulously craft forms by hand.

This involves adjusting line widths down to the 0.1mm, correcting balance to account for optical illusions, and achieving the perfection of “vector data” that never loses quality at any size. No matter how detailed the instructions, it is impossible for current AI to perfectly reproduce this “functional beauty”.

However, beyond these barriers of “expression”, there is a decisive wall that AI cannot essentially overcome.

That is interpreting the “emotion” behind our words.

“Why did you start this business?” “What struggles have you overcome?” “What do you want for your future customers?”

The process of breathing life into these formless emotions and sublimating them into a single symbol (logo) can only exist within “open-hearted discussions” between humans.

The Decisive Difference Between Logos That Last and Those That Fade

In this world, there are logos you want to redo in a few years, and logos that continue to be loved for decades. Where is the difference?

  • Logos that fade: Designs that simply chased the trend (fashion) of the time, lacking a “story.”
  • Logos that are loved for a long time: Forms derived from the company’s philosophy and the fundamental question of “why do we exist?”

At TMCreation, I sometimes offer opposing opinions as a professional. I believe that discarding polite facades and facing each other with honest intent results in the work that satisfies the client the most (a logo that is loved for a long time).

To Visualize Your “Thoughts”

Does Your Logo Have a Story You Can Tell 10 Years from Now? A logo is not just a mark. It is the “face” of your company and your “determination” shown to the world.

Clients do not necessarily have a clear idea of what they want to make from the start. Rather, it is often through discussion that what they truly cherish comes into view.

It does not matter if “your thoughts aren’t organized yet.” First, please let us hear your “thoughts”. From there, let’s create your “unwavering banner” that is the only one of its kind together!
